What is wrong with my 2003 Jeep G.Cherokee?

Just recently when going about 10-20 mph my jeep just dies! It starts right back up but it scares the crap out of me. My engine light hasn't come on so I can't get it diagnosed. What could it be?

Sounds like there's something wrong with the fuel system, somehow it's not getting fuel.

Could be a faulty connection in your electronic ignition system. When electronic ignition systems came out in the 70's, my dad got a Wagonner and it had this same problem of dying out suddenly... they diagnosed it as a faulty connection.

Ignition and fuel system might be crapping out. Take it to a jeep dealership asap. They will be able to figure it out within an hour. While many small shops will make you pay hundreds of bucks in diagnostic charges while they figure out if its the fuel pump or an ignition problem

Check the fuel filter and fuel pump.
