what is wrong with my 1995 mazda mvp?

any time i turn the key over it sounds just like normal but if i hit the brake or try to turn the ignition over or try to turn on the radio, blinkers... ETC... everything turns off in the van. i have to turn the key off once more and take it out then put it back in and does the same thing what is wrong with it and how do i fix it?
 
You have an electrical short.You could spend days tracing out the problem.Bite the bullet...take it to a dealership.
