Symptoms: Dizziness, loss of vision, involuntary muscle movement (repeditive muscle twitches)
During an episode I get dizzy and my vision blurs or blacks out completely. My muscles begin to feel weak and I eventually lose control and am no longer able to stand. My muscles, usually only in my arms and legs, twitch in a very strong repeditive motion. These episodes dont last more than maybe 10 seconds or so and seem to occur most often when I stand from a laying or sitting position. Ive tried standing more slowly but it doesnt seem to make a diffenrence. I have had the same symptoms occur even if I havent been laying/sitting.
I first noticed these symptoms around the start of puberty. (13 or so) They have continued to bother me since. They do not happen everyday, but they happen more often than not. Ive never been to a doctor for such episodes, chalking it up to being tired or getting up to quickly. If anyone has any idea about what this could be Id appreciate any input. Thanks.
