What is wrong with me?

I had a sinus infection about 3 weeks ago and I am completely healed from it, however my lungs have had this heaviness feeling in them, like they are filled with phlegm or mucus. I am constantly dry coughing, rarely any mucus comes up. I am also finding that I am clearing my throat a lot because there is mucus or phlegm in my throat. I swallow it because I can't spit it out at work. That would not be good customer service haha! My manager let me borrow her vaporizer that I have been using at night time to help loosen anything up. It seems to be helping slightly. It is starting to worry me, however, because this has been lingering for about a week and a half and this has never happened to me. Has anyone had this problem? What did you do for it? Should I see a doctor? Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I think you should see a doctor. Just to get a chest x-ray and make sure you're not developing bronchitis. It often follows sinus infections and can cause dry cough and chest tightness.

Good luck, I hope you're feeling better soon!

Here is the northeast we have had something like that going around for several months now . . . bronchial congestion, sinus infection, and a cough that just lasts and lasts - sometimes for a couple of weeks after other symptoms clear up. Sounds like that same bug has made it's way out to Idaho.
