So, to be blunt, I am a hypo. Over the past several years I've been convinced something is wrong, only to wind up ... healthy.

This, however, feels different. For several months I've been waking up every night with my left hand numb and tingling. I shake it off, go back to sleep, try and forget about it. Now, starting this week, during days my left leg just doesn't feel right. I'm walking OK, but it doesn't feel like I'm walking OK. The leg feel weak, sorta numb-ish.

I'm out of the country, freaking out. Can this possibly be anxiety? MS? ALS? I can't handle this stuff ... Help! Please!

Numb feeling can be from many causes,
It seems there is something putting pressure on one of the blood vessels, this can cause numb feeling that passes by when you shake the limb.
The pressure might be also on a nerve, causing the weird feeling in the leg.
Take a physical check.

Do you sleep on your side? If you do it could be cutting the blood off to your hand. So when you wake up with the tinglies, you shake it and drop back to sleep. If it stays tingly during the day, you may have a nerve being compressed alightly. You can live with this just fine! YOu aren't dying and it's not MS or ALS. It's anxiety.
