Woven - put together on a loom, like 'craft' potholders you make in elementary school. Examples: bed sheets, men's dress shirts, ladies' blouses. Frequently require ironing.
Knit - put together by knitting machine. Examples: T shirts, panties, briefs.

Cotton is a plant of height near about 4 to 5 feet. It is planted mostly in relatively warm countries. Pakistan, India, Missir, Iran, Iraq are some of them.
Cotton plant give flowers after two months to three months.
These flowers have cotton and seeds in them. In factories seeds are separated from cotton fabric.
Seeds are used for cooking oil and other use.
Fabric Cotton is again processed in Textile Mills, where fabric is made and also clothes is prepared.
Hence we can say that cotton fabric is obtained from a kind of a plant. So it is natural fabric not synthesized.
