I posted my resume on Craig's List so I naturally knew there were going to be scam artists around. I received some e-mails from the same person "Kim" (multiple e-mail addresses) and 2 others from 2 different people. Their e-mails are generic with absolutely nothing about a job mentioned in them, just "Are you still looking?" or "Can you start next week?". I replied to them out of sheer curiosity, inquiring what kind of a position it is and so on. I didn't get a response from any.
My question is, if these people are scammers of some sort, what are they trying to do? They didn't reply or anything. Or are they just mean spirited people trying to bother someone looking for a job? Are they bored and e-mailing random people about nonsense just to occupy their time?
