What is Vincent van Gogh's favorite color?

I think it would have been yellow.
Look at the swirls of yellow in Starry Night, the sunflowers he painted & The Yellow House.
Yes, definitely yellow.

erm... YELLOW
this is common knowledge...

he said that yellow represented joy and friendship for him. this is why he painted the sunflower series in honor of his friend Cezanne. becuase they are very yellow.
 
He seemed pretty fond of blue....
