What is up with the plummeting gas mileage on my jeep?

Ok. I have a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee. All of a sudden, the fuel mileage is starting to seriously deteriorate. I would understand if this was something gradual over time, and then I probably would hardly notice. But this is sudden, and has been occurring over the past few weeks.
I used to be able to get around town for 2 entire weeks, even more, on one tank of gas. I haven't changed my routes, or where I go. I'm pretty much a routine person. So, now I'm using a tank every week and a half. This may not seem like a big drop, but I can tell it's getting worse, and quickly.
Is there something in the vehicle that can cause this rapid change in fuel mileage?

Tire pressure,
Weight - do you have stuff in the cargo that was not there before.
Air filter - check if its dirty or clogged.
Driving speed - driving fast, then stopping often wastes a lot of gas. Even on freeway, driving exesively fast will decrease your mpg.
Notice anything different how the engine is running?
