What is up with educated people talking about Astrology?

I hear the same vapid generalizations that attempt to predict behavior, from educated people, that you see in newspaper horoscopes.

I am talking about people that I know talking about the subject, like in a restaurant. People say things like "no wonder her marriage didn't work out....she is a Leo." That kind of thing.
