...and how long inside? I would like to know after my pup gets a bit older and gets all his first shots, what is the best schedule for hime to be indoors and outdoors. I would like to raise a dog indoors, but i dont know what that truely means. does that mean that the dog will always be inside and go out only to do his business? Because my mom doesnt like the fact to have a pet indoors and i suggested he could be both.

I dont know how people do it. I've seen on tv that the owner walks in the house with there dog inside the house already. But we have sliding doors which makes it difficult for our dog to go out on his own to pee or poop.

My idea was that while we are at school (my brothers and i) he would be ouside and let him in once we get home to be with us like a "pack" (thats what ive read in lots of articles). leaving him outside would be about the most 5-6 hours out side plus my mom stops by for lunch in the middle then come my siblings.

Another thing is should my dog sleep outside. I want him to feel part of the pack but then also to protect our house. And also we dont want a dirty dog coming in not knowing what he did.

He is a jack russell terrier if that helps (male/neutered). I want to raise this pup as best and also as practical as i can. I dont want a show dog. But i will walk and excercise this energetic pup everyday (my bros and i and my dad agreed).

any recommendations or stories on how they raised their dogs with their daily schedule (you can be as descriptive as you want it does help).

right now he sleeps in my room after yesterdays surgery (neutered) and he is 2 months and days old.
Im trying to potty train him and its been ups and downs. Im also worried about the feeding. Is it 1 cup for the whole day and divided into four time througout the day bc 1 cup each time seems too much. i think im right.

Also there has not been any signs of teething, i bought him a kong teething toy so when he does starts to chew he can do so on that. Is it because he is still woozy from the surger? oh and is redness ok on and around the site? probably.

also when he becomes active and starts on his walks, should i use a regular collar and leash or harness. I just bought a nylon adjustable collar with clip. Breed: jack russell terrier as i was told from the shelter and from the looks of it he does. short legs and long body. ( how tall and big would they grow)?

sorry for the hundreds of questions, but this is my second dog, My childhood pet lived up to 14 years old but i was too young in the first 5-6 years, mainly was involved in his adult years. and this JRT will be my first from young.

From all these questions, if you cant (probably will not but thats ok) answer them all please just answer at least the schedule and your opinion and story if possible. how long inside/outside and the most bond with him

thanks, i realllllllyyyyyy appreciate it.

peace.
