investigate Earth's non-linear curve? hello. A while ago i read a novel in which Earth's curvature was non-linear - the area between West Coast of the states and Japan was seemingly infinite despite the Earth remaining globe-shaped. A blimp is sent from, i believe, London, to see if it is indeed infinite. the novel is a diary of a journalist on board, detailing how the expedition has gone very wrong. can anyone advise? many thanks
