I'm 11 weeks and 1 day pregnant.

Yesterday, I was having this weird twinge on the left side of my belly.. it sort of felt like a cramp but it wasn't really severe enough to be a cramp.. It was more like a little twinge of pain, but not really that painful? I don't know how to describe it.. I've been having it this morning also.. What does this mean!?

well i had the same thing a few days ago and put up a question about it and someone told me that i might be dehydrated. well i started drinking more water and its gone away.
i'd say it'll probably work for you as well.

congrats on your baby by the way :)

It could be your ligaments stretching. It feels like a mild cramp or sometimes even more severe. It is normal and you will feel it on and off thru your growing stage.

Yup Rachael is right its round ligament pain. Its just stretching pain from your growing uterus! do not worry I find it helps if you lay on the side where the pain is present. Congrats! Good Luck!

It's probably round ligament pain. You have large ligaments that hold your uterus in place. As your uterus grows, it can cause the ligaments to stretch, which can cause some pain. I used to always get it on my left side, too. Just one of the joys of pregnancy.

I get it on my right side mostly but it is your uterus stretching. It comes and goes and I'm 24 weeks and I still get it. Very normal. But don't hesitate to ask your doctor if you are concerned.

HTH :)

i bin havin the same thing... i dunno but im gonna c if any1 can answer this 4 us!!

It's probably nothing. Try googling "weird tinge when pregnant" and see what you get.

I'm 12 weeks and have had the same thing over the past couple of days. I just figure its some sort of growing/stretching pain.

ive had 2 children.
i had this pain too, drink plenty of fluids and rest. it could just be wind but dont over do it.as you are at the stage were your body is trying to make way for baby, if it gets really sore see your local accident and emergency department and they will scan to make sure everything is fine. but im sure everyone gets it. good luck xx

congratulations btw!!!

you are NOT having braxton hicks contractions at 11 weeks. That's just ridiculous (you wouldnt feel them i mean). It's probably round ligament pain. Which is your uterus stretching out the muscles in your tummy and pelvic area. It's normal, don't worry! The only time you should worry is if you have severe cramping. otherwise... it's just your body growing a baby!
