What is this theory called?

That the universe is has an eternal cycle starting of with a singularity and expands till a point till it shrinks back into a singularity. And this goes on forever. What is this theory called?
 
An oscillating universe, with *infininte* Big Bangs and Big Crunches, is the Big Bounce Theory.
 
The hypothesis that the universe will eventually collapse back on itself is called The Big Crunch.

It has been speculated that universe is an an eternal cycle of Big Bang to Big Crunch, but I don't think there's a specific name for that hypothesis.
 
it is called the oscillating theory. because it just undergo a cycle.. it expands, then shrinks, expands again then shrinks again. it is going through a round and round state.
 
I believe this is called the Closed Universe theory or something similar.
