I heard a song on the radio today in New Zealand. I have googled the lyrics I remember but I can't seem to find the song!

Here are the lines I remember:
Will it be this way for life
You're on my mind

I think the beginning of the song was something about walking to Chinatown from an apartment on the outskirts of town, maybe in New York?

@Infamous: nope, it wasn't rap, more like rock/indie, kind of reminded me of the Kooks.
