What is this food I ate its AMAZING?

So i work at a really nice restuarant with good food and all, only I don't cook the food. So I was wondering if someone can help me figure out what it is. I work as a food runner so I am always in the kitchen, every now and then I munch on something. Today some guy made this soupy looking stuff that didn't look to good, but then I tasted it and seriously thought about stealing the entire thing, it was probably the best thing I have ever tasted! So I asked him what it was and he said it is my man juice (trying to be funny). But he told me the ingredients were like brown sugar, sugar, maple syrup, cinammon, vanilla, and some other things. It wasn't very thick though like cream of wheat but it tasted similar but sooo much better. Does anyone know what this is called and If you do can you hook me up with a recipe? Thanks in advance
