It is a logical fallacy to conclude that an argument is invalid simply because the opponent has difficulty spelling or handling the English language. So why do so many think that pointing out a character flaw presents a convincing argument?

I cannot agree with you, and yes, it is just a number, but consider Marylynn Vos Savant, who acheived better than 220, and just so happened to be right despite all the leading proffessors of math who told her she was absolutely wrong until her theory was tested.
