What is this book? A guy is somewhere where there aren't many ppl and he sees some skinheads beating up a guy and he also finds a kitten and puts it in his jacket and somehow he ends up back in time or some other place where there are heaps of witches and i remember he goes to their house or something and there are all these cats and there is like the head witch and she's this naked old woman. The book's called something to do with a torture device like 'the gallows' or something- it's got a lot to do with that sort of hanging cage thing they use in torture- whatever that's called

These kids get kidnapped by aliens that look like giant flies and they make them perform in a circus but later a girl sees a fly from outside her room where they tell her she must stay because there's no oxygen outside of it so she knows that there is oxygen so she leaves and escapes. It's got like some weird word in the title like 'galaxarena' or something.
