What is the worst 60's or 70's or 80's cartoon show?

Re: Bat-Mite: Bat-Mite actually first showed up in the Batman comics of the late 50's, a time which the comics, facing abysmal sales (yes, kids, at one point, Batman wasn't doing too hot), and the editor of the time was apparently encouraged to make them more like the high-selling Superman comics at the time, which meant throwing in elements similar to the Superman comics/sci-fi stuff...which meant Batman fighting aliens and stuff en masse. Bat-Mite was created during this period as an analog of Mr. Mxyzptlk. When Julius Schwartz took over editorialship of the Batbooks in '64, he changed Bats back to the "masked detective" side of him, and thus banished all traces of wacky aliens/sci-fi junk. However, this apparently didnt' stop Filmation in the 70's from using Bat-Mite...

"Gilligan's Planet": I remember this show...no more intelligent than its parent live-action show. :-)

Transformers (the original series) is pretty terrible, even compared to other 80s action cartoons. TMNT at least had lively and likeable characters, He man had a certain emotional resonance from time to time, and Thundercats actually managed to present a few decent stories. There is very little credit to give to Transformers however, except possibly the occasional somewhat well directed action scene. Same deal with G.I Joe.

They are beautifully animated, and in public domain :), but one problem I have with them is that they're dark, and kind of hard to see.

Worst of the 90's: Mega Babies. The Tromblays' follow-up to Swat Kats is an abysmal piece of dreck.

Dishonorable mention: Hammerman, Wishkid, Yo! Yogi!

Worst of the 80's: Rubik the Amazing Cube. Filed under "things that make you say, WTF?"! ;) :p :D

Dishonorable mention: H-B's boneheaded decision to send Olive Oyl & Alice the Goon into the Army, then following up by doing the same with Laverne & Shirley.

Worst of the 70's: I Am The Greatest: The Advs. of Muhammad Ali. Bad animation, poor time slot, lasted only one season as a result, despite Ali's popularity.

Dishonorable mention: None. I grew up during the 70's, and didn't see a lot that was really bad.
