What is the worst 60's or 70's or 80's cartoon show?

There are plenty to choose from. Mine is the Mr. T adventure whatever, with those acrobat kids and the dog with the mohawk. Or the one with the kid who ate a burrito and he turned into a car.

Besides the fact that Williams Street likes to use old 60's, 70's, and 80's cartoons to make new ones, this doesn't really belong in the Adult Swim forum. :-\

Somebody move this.

Hurry...hurry..this is not adult swim realted, get it outta here, before it contaminates the Adult Swim boards...aaawww

just joking... :)
this is the wrong place for that though :)

Rubiks Cube. That was an all time low in the toy and game based shows. If his colors get mixed up, he stops living or something like that, and all of this mixed up in the by then overplayed Scooby Doo ripoff mystery format. They were obviously out if ideas around that time. Luckily a string of popular video games and other toys brought in some better ideas in shows like Saturday Supercade.

I get really bored during the Herculoids. Some 80's cartoons I didn't like include:

Back to the Future: TAS (Why did they do this? Don't tarnish the great first two movies witht this crap, the third movie sucked as it was!) This was early 90s actually, but still.

Beetlejuice: TAS Again, great movie, horrible cartoon. Stop butchering the movie. (This late 80s-early 90s)

Most, If Not All The Cartoons that Turned Our Favorite
Characters into Kids (Flinstones Kids and A Pup Named Scooby Doo)

13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo: If you thought Scrappy was bad, meet Flim-Flam. Put those two together, it's almost the apocalypse.

The Brady Bunch Kids was some terrible garbage.

I think I hate Almost Every Hannah-Barbera Action Show Ever Made: There all lame, boring, and all of them have crappy animation. They are good for one thing, the William Street shows and Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law (not technically a WS show.)

Edit: Oh yeah Gary Coleman, how could I forget that show! Josie and The Pussycats in Outerspace was also really stupid! While I haven't seen it, I'm sure Fonz and The Happy Days Gang was terrible as well as Laverne and Shirley.

oh i forgot, there's one you didn't mention....

HAMMERMAN

Boy that show was ****!! MC Hammer with dancing shoes fighting crime by dancing, those crack-heads shoulda unloaded on him with a pac of Uzi's and AK-47s

My choice for Single Worst Cartoon Ever: 'The Brady Kids'

Numberous Runners Up: any cartoon created for the sole purpose of cashing in on some currently-popular celebrity.

I find those shows a lot more objectionable than the oft-maligned 'Captain Planet', which was preachy, but at least had something to say.

Here are some shows that should never have been made (in no particular order):

Hong Kong Phooey--what a stupid character!!!

Casper and the Angels--the friendly ghost fighting crime with 2 female cops assisted by Hairy Scarey; UN-FUNNY!!!! :p

Pandamonium--if you like pandas, you might not after seeing this piece of crap

Rubik, The Amazing Cube--someone mentioned this earlier; Ron "Horshack" Palillo should've known better than to be in this (they sped up his voice)

Mr. T--I pity the fool that finds this train wreck enjoyable!

The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo--one of the worst

A Pup Named Scooby-Doo--not only stupid but very badly drawn!!! Reminded me of every Tiny Toons ep made by Kennedy Cartoons :p

Super Globetrotters--silly

The Gary Coleman Show--the absolute worst cartoon of all time!!!!

Any cartoon based on a video game, including Pac-Man--It was no better when the late Lorenzo "Garfield" Music joined the show as Super Pac-Man (even that character was terrible!)

Bedrock Cops--Fred and Barney working part-time for the Bedrock police department; what "mush-for-brains" came up with this?!

That's about it. What do you all think?

BTW, I loved Speed Buggy, the Teen Angels, and yes Scrappy-Doo!

Hmmm, you really should have asked what good cartoons were made in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, since pretty much everything in the 70s, 80s, and most of the 60s was really terrible. Outiside of early Hanna-Barbera, Jay Ward, The Alvin Show, some theatrical cartoons of the 60s, and a couple other shows, most everything from that time period is unwatchable to me.

Now you've gone and done it. Yes, there were many awful shows during this time, mostly courtesy of Hanna Barbera and Filmation. However there were also many true classics, including Jonny Quest, Scooby Doo (the original), Star Blazers, Robotech, Duck Tales, etc.

CHALLENGE of the GoBots.

Crappy animation, good show, cheap toys, and really bad timing. The whacked-out characters are what I liked about this.

As for 70s and 80s toonage, I usually banish cartoons I despise from my memory; thus, I don't remember the worst cartoons ever.
