What is the world's longest hiking trail?

I know the Pacific Crest Trail is longer the Appalachian and there is one being constructed in Canada that is larger than both, but as the Appalachian is just for hiking does this make it the longest hiking trail, rather than trail that can be hiked?
 
Look up the Long Path. Its not completed yet but there are segments in NY, Florida and Lousiana. It`s just west of the appalachian trail. And is supposed to run down the east coast, well not on the coast but you know what I`m saying.
