I have been into philosophy for over 4 years now and have read a lot of philosophy books and attended discussion groups. But, In todays society with its quest for objective, non-biased knowledge what is the place for philosophy. I know the quest for knowledge orinates in philosophy, but for todays person or philosopher What is philosophy for?
Another point: If philosophy is an art in argumentation, I came to the point that you can argue for anything persuasively enough, then is there an "objective truth" in philosophy to look for in the first place?
