What is the usual gas mileage for a 74 Dodge Challenger for the engines offered?

And would an Electronic Fuel Injection help raise the gas mileage? Are there any other replacements that you could do to help the MPG?
I read that the gear ratio can be changed to help with getting a higher mpg. Is this true?

What about a 69-70 era Mustang Fastback?
