In the US, a soccer or "insert other sport here" mom is someone who lives a very tight, busy schedule that revolves around their kids activities, and never misses one of them. Someone who sacrafices their own wants and needs for the wants and needs for her children and her family, usually pertaining to extra-curricular activities, like sports.

Stereotypes regarding soccer moms often include minivans, or SUV's large enough to haul around sports gear and 3-4 children.

But what is the UK equivalent ?

Tennis? I am guessing. We don't really have one. But I have seen kids with loads of gear in a massive tennis bag.
