What is the title of this children's book?

The story is about a little girl who is messy and doesn't pick up after herself. Soon, her house gets tired of her messy habits and ends up leaving her. Only one household item stays behind with her and convinces her to apologize to her house. Her house ends up coming back to her and then the book shows how she tries to keep clean which makes the house happy.

Does anyone know/remember this children's book?
