chicks from a hawk? I saw a show on Discovery years ago about a white Chinese chicken who I think was named Lucie or Lucy. She adopted a brood of chicks that had been rejected by the mother hen and raised them. One day, when a hawk was flying over head and caught them out in the yard, she can't get them out of harms way in time and has to stretch her wings over them to protect them from the hawk. Does anyone remember this show, or know the name of the author or title of the short story? Thanks -Lani
