It was a book about magic or witchcraft, the main character was a young boy and I think, his grandmother, all the pictures were drawn and in black & white. I remember one book or scene was about a woman with coins over her eyes. It was a very well written book and I think it may have been a series but I can't recall neither the title or author. It was also very adventurous along the lines of something like The Phantom Tollbooth. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!!
