I have been trying to find this book for years, but i can't remember what the title is or the author.
The book is about a girl who has a special ability/ abilities and her parents send her away to a school in the middle of no where. I think it is set in Australia.
There are about 5 or 6 other people at the school, and she falls for one the guys there. I think one of them can make things go invisible. I also remember a near-drowning situation in it.
I'm pretty sure the author is Australian, and she was planning on writing a series of books.
I know that it isn't Maximum Ride by James Patterson (although it is sort of similar).
