What is the time fram?

Ok, my husband and my self are throwing a Christening Celebration, and I'm am having trouble figuring out the time frame to serve the food...example, I know when the guest arrive you serve drinks and hord'oeures but how long after that do you serve dinner/main entree? And how long after the dinner do you serve the dessert/coffe?
The time frame is from is 2 p.m. - until (Unitl people leave)
