What is the theory that states that in the past there were civilizations as or more

advanced than our society? What is the theory that says that civilizations in the past were more advanced than ours now and that eventualoly we will just fail and start over again. Is there any videos about this on youtube? Are there any other theories similar to this with good videos on youtube? thanks!
 
I dont know about any theory but it is said that Atlantis which many people think might have existed which sank into the ocean was very advance. Maybe you can find videos on the lost city of Atlantis.
Also you can look up Eutopia.
 
I don't know where you could find it, but the theory was that they were advanced as well. They were supposedly destroyed by a world-wide catastrophe, maybe the "flood" mentioned in biblical scriptures.
