What is the strangest liquor law in your area?

In Saskatchewan, Canada, it's the law, that if you ride a horse to the bar, the owner of the bar has to provide a bale of hay for the horse.

In Colorado, one couldn't buy liquor on sundays. That has all changed, and its not so bad.

No one here cares about laws, number one DUI state!!!! I've seen teens at nightclubs.. who cares.. it's a free country.

There was a some part of an area in my city that had an old law that required no alcohol was allowed to be served in any establishment within a certain boundary. There was a restaurant that one side of it was on the "dry" boundary and the other side of the restaurant was in the "allowed alcohol" area so if you sat on the dry side they couldn't serve you booze, yet move a few seats over and it was legal....strange huh?

In my state , Florida , there are dry counties , counties where no alcoholic beverages are sold at all , there are soft counties counties where only beer and wine are sold no distilled spirits , there are counties where all types of alcoholic beverage is available . There are 2 different types of drinking establishments , full service , and beer and wine only . There are beer and wine only establishments even in the full service counties . Are you confused yet ? ;-)
