What is the story on Shannon Matthews....?

there are so many rumours about the family. I would have thought her mother would be hammering down the door to get her daughter back. I even heard something about her being involved in a ransom plot.
 
We won't know the truth until the police have finished questionning Shannon and the man who she was found with.
There's definitely something fishy going on, found with a member of her extended family only a mile from her home...?
I don't believe it was a money making scheme, no matter how stupid and broke you may be, no sensible parent would do that to their child just to make some money off the press (I would hope anyway!)
 
Shannon's mum has said publicly that she is satisfied that Shannon is happy and being looked after, and that as much as she wants Shannon home she understands that the police need to question her and it will take time. The police have also ruled out any family involvement in her disappearance. I don't think there's anything odd or sinister going on at the moment - the police need to find out what happened to Shannon and they need to tread very carefully as she is only 9 years-old.
 
I heard a child phicologist (I knows its spelt rong) talking this morning, saying something like it could have been a money making scheme (encouraged by the millions the McCanns made I spose!)
She apparently run away of her own accord. Thats why the parents arnt allowed with her while shes interviewed.
They dont know when shes to be re united if at all. She doesnt seem to be harmed at all.
Anythings possible in this wicked ole world.
 
The reason why Shannon's mum is not banging the door down at the Police Station to get her kid back is because she wants the Police to find out from Shannon, exactly what has been going on.

What made her want to run away before she went missing. Was the Step Father abusing her? If she was my daughter, I'd want the Police to get tot he bottom of it, and if that meant a few more days without her at home, so be it.

Imagine if she is being abused by him at home, and the Police just sent her back there.. then what? We'd all be horrified wouldn't we, that the Police didn't investigate it and something bad happened to her, after her ordeal.

Lateral thinking. It goes a long way.
 
We all just know that something weird is going on. Yes I have heard to rumours regarding perhaps a sinister plot by the family to get the reward money, you just dont know. The father must be getting really annoyed with so called family and friends referring to the step dad as her dad constantly, was he involved. We will not know until the case goes to court, however it says heaps when the mother has only seen her daughter through a glass window and has only waved at her and not touched her at all, and from the reports its down to whether or not Shannon wants to go home. At least the poor girl is safe now.

It is puzzling. I'm just glad she's safe. And I just hope she has a good future, whether with her own family or not.
 
i dont think her family are allowed there while she is being asked questions to make sure she says what happened without interferience.also if her parents came she might clam up to the police as shes so pleased to see them.im not sure what happened but i think her parents have been unfairly critisised.lets just pray she went to no harm with the man who took her.
 
the police are interviewing her because they believe she is at risk of harm from the bickering alcoholics who are getting legless instead of acting like responsible parents

well i think its odd as a nine year old is getting interviewed shouldn't her mam or dad be with her, the police said they were suspicious of something not right after a few statements were made by her mum after she was found safe, her story was changing so they say, but police said the little girl hasn't been sexually touched so makes you wonder,
