I might be seeing the same thing but I was looking in the sky and I just happened to look up at this weird blinking light. I grabbed the telescope (handheld) and the binoculars and I swear it was blinking lights around in a circle. I thought it might be a Satellite or star but I could see a few different images like a hovering or moving around situation but then it also looked like the rings of Saturn (I heard We can see it tomorrow night Thursday) but it was moving away and now I'm asking the same question (if it was the same thing) In Your situation it might be a planet or just some kind of Satellite. Maybe its even the space shuttle (if it is up there now?) Whatever I saw was infact similar but very strange.
