What is the sound difference between Rockford Fosgate P3's and P3S's?

Do the shallow mounts bottom out easier or are the just the same. I was wondering why shallow mounts were cheaper that normal mounts.

P3S's are the shallow mount subwoofers. They cant handle nearly as much power and dont sound quite as loud, but are good if you have very limited space. And yes, they can bottom out easier due to lack of power handling and the way it is built. they are cheaper cause cheaper to build and they cant handle as much power or sound nearly as good.
