...perspective of your surroundings? example would be like, you never noticed a certain car on the streets before, but after you own it, you started to see it everywhere as if people started driving it after you bought it; or when you're new to a class room or office, you have to stranger, new feeling, but after you been there for a while, you have quite a different perspective of the place, the term is on the tip of my tongue, but i just can't seem to remember it, i wanna say something like altered state of consciousness/awareness/perspective, but i don't think that's correct
