what is the small two prong cable on the back of a stock 1997 jeep grand

cherokee head unit? i went to replace my stock radio with an aftermarket system i have the conversion piece and it hooked up fine but there is this small 2 prong peace that can't hook up anywhere so i can't hear sound. this 2 prong wasn't there on my old cherokee so if anyone knows how i can get this to work it would be greatly appreciated i have a 1997 jeep grand cherokee limited
