What is the small round port for on the back of LG Chocolate VX8500 cell phone?

On the back of my LG Chocolate this is a small rubber plug. When you pull it out, it looks much like a round charging port. I've searched the internet, but can't seem to find out what it is for. Anyone have a clue?

Here is a link to a photo of the back of the LG. You can see the plug on the back next to the battery latch and speaker.
