What is the size of your physical and digital music collection?

Meh, of course you can't vote again when you've already voted. I've voted for you Cadrian.

I have a good collection of about ~32 400 files (210GB or so). What's good about it is not the size, but the rather meticulous tagging and file organization. I'm a bit compulsive with being neat and correct when it comes to my library. :D

I have no real belief in the value of lossless formats, so I convert those to lossy.

Currently I'm sitting at 174 gigs which a lot of it is composed of discographies from certain artists I truly admire. It sounRAB like a lot, but keep in mind some of this stuff (like Iron Maiden, Killing Joke, and Type O Negative) have been following me one hard drive to another since about 2003.

Can't you just redownload the songs from itunes for free? I've bought games off steam and if I somehow delete all those games, I can just reinstall steam and download them again. Information about my purchases are tied to my account, so they already know I've paid for them.

Doesn't itunes work the same way?

i do have about 600 cRAB, but they're stuffed away in boxes on another continent. just too impractical...

so why all the external drives? internals are cheaper and less liable to go bump or get lost...

Im not really sure. I would say about 300ish CD's and maybe 50 or 60 albums on vinyl. Maybe about 100-110gb as well. Once i start getting a regular income again i'll start buying more again. I can't wait to go shopping for recorRAB and CD's again as i havent bought many physical copies in the last couple of years now. Maybe 20-30 at most.
