What is the Roman Catholic Church's view on Euthanasia in this circumstance?

If a patient on life support were considered brain dead, without any treatment options or chance of recovery, would it be ethical, according to the Roman Catholic Church, to take said patient off life support?
Thank you for your answers.

@Lady Wildcat:
Euthanasia can be defined as both active and passive.
Active Euthanasia is actively ending someone's life, while Passive Euthanasia is omitting or withholding medical treatment that will inevitably end their life.
This scenario involves Passive Euthanasia.
