My mom has the mouth disease oral lichen planus. it flares up every once in a while but this time its worse and longer lasting. she has a white-ish, yellow-ish film over her tongue and claims her throat to hurt. is this thrush? i had thrush when i was five but that was 10 years ago and i can't remember all the symptoms. plus i didn't have oral lichen planus. could this be thrush? and if it is, should she go to the doctors' to get it checked out? is it dangerous to have both at the same time? and can oral lichen planus cause thrush?
i'm just concerned about her health? should I be?
