My mother is Irish and I am trying to learn more about my roots, but I have never known much about Irish politics.
Can someone explain what exactly the Irish Republican Army is and what their purpose is?
So far what I know is that they were a group of Irish people that fought the British for independance of Ireland back in the early 1900's, but why are they still together? What do they want to acheive exactly?
