There is a possibility that I know what you are talking about (it could happen) we are having fraternal twins and the early measurements indicate that one was conceived about a day earlier than the other. This is actually somewhat more common with older women (wife is 39), and more eggs are dropped later on.
Ofc, I had to tease my wife about that also. I said, "Well, you know that when you get to the last couple of eggs, the carton has a tendency to tip..." She puts up with a lot of this kind of stuff.
BTW, we do not know the sexes yet, but we will find out. We are getting all of the screenings done and, so far, good news...no down's syndrome, so we won't have to name one of them BrianH. *rim shot* "Thank you, we'll be here all week!"
