What is the political spectrum of media (news, television, etc...)?

Hello, although I am young, I have an interest in politics ever since our economy has changed drastically. This also means I am new to this. I would like to know the political spectrum of the media. The reason for this? I want to know both sides of a story. Can anyone help me out? I can watch/read a lot of media so the more outlets covered in the spectrum, the better for me. Thanks!
 
Depends on the media outlet. for the most part CNN is liberal, FOX is conservative. In general the media tends to be considered more liberal than conservative
 
Depending on the surveying source 86 to 92% of news media people vote liberal, or Democrat. Kinda puts the idea of unbiased reporting in question, dont you think?
