What is the point in iPod bluetooth connectivity?

I'm sure you can use it to connect to a headset, but right now I've connected my iPod touch with my Sidekick LX 2009 via bluetooth. But I'm not sure what I can do with the two connected. Is there a way to use the internet from my phone on my iPod?
 
The point is for this:

-Connection to Bluetooth Enabled Speakers.

-Multiplayer Games.

the other question your asking doesn't make sense, if your asking if there's internet on the iPod, the answer is yes. This can be enabled by turning on Wi Fi in the Settings App.
