I'm 18 and have wanted to be in the army since i was a young girl. i lost my will for a while after learning that women can't be on the front line (my dream was to be a sniper). Now, once again, i want to join the army. not to serve queen and country, but to do my part to try and right the wrongs so to speak. but now i have a young daughter and I wouldn't feel right joining when she can't understand why, where and what, especially after looking after my friends 3 y/o who's farther died last year, it broke my heart asking where his daddy was and when he'd be coming back, which was why my friend, his wife of 2 months (been together for 7 years) asked me to watch him. I'm 18 now and would want to wait at least another 8 years (then my daughter will be 10). is this too old to join?
Also, what else could i do other then be on the front line that helps? I don't want to be tech or mech, i want to be there taking down the bastards that set out to ruin not only our great country but the rest of the world.
