M Martinmm New member Sep 8, 2009 #2 there is no setting. once in place read the gage. depends on what oil pump you have installed too. 30lbs is good idle,not lower. 60+ is good . if all the ports are clear you will get true readings. dirty oil will show lower reading

K kmp1171 New member Sep 8, 2009 #4 Do youmean the spec's ? cause ranges can vary but anything below 10psi at idle engine warm is bad
