Pt(s) | Cr2+(0.88M), Cr3+(0.13M) || Cu2+(1.87M) |Au(s)
This is a challenge question for my chemistry homework and I'm lost as to what to do. I know to set up the equation and then combine the half-cell potentials. After that you use the Nernst Equation to calculate the observed potential because the standard cell potential isn't the same. I just don't know what equations to set up seeing as the reactions don't make any sense to me.
