I'm trying to remember a story from my childhood and I can't remember the name. This particular story was illustrated, I think in black and white. I remember a woman was "cursed" or forced to wear a white veil or mask and no one was allowed to see her face. I think she took up falconry or something, I remember her setting a hawk or falcon free and she was wearing a glove.
