What is the name of this old Science Fiction TV series?

i cant remember the name of it and all i can remember about it is that it was on very late at night on the si-fi channel. it aired around the late 90's early 2000's. it had to do something about some attractive red haired girl, a weird android with black hair. a middle aged man who is the captain of this living ship that they are living in. and some small root that reminds me of Floyd from get force Gemini. all i can remember is that the red haired girl used to have blue hair but then something happened and she became the red haired girl(change of actors). and one episode it was a bunch of kids running around on the ship and they activated the android guy and he started to kill them off. i have been trying to find out the name and it has been bothering me for a long time please help
