I saw this when I was very little, and I've been trying to find it for awhile. Its about these little fairy people who live in a magical kingdom. I vividly remember one having a magic floating ball or square or something. the scene i remember the most is the one where two of the little fairies somehow get glued together, and cant separate themselves. the magic square/ball tries but it cant, so they break out into a slow ballad about how they want to be separate again.
